AAGES, headquartered near Târgu Mureș, in the heart of Romania, has been designing and manufacturing induction heating systems for a wide range of applications for over 35 years.

AAGES was founded in 1990 at the initiative of a group of scientific researchers who, during the 1980s, carried out their activity within the National Institute for Research and Development in Electrical Engineering ICPE-CA Bucharest, Târgu Mureș branch.

The company’s first products were static converters for induction heating applications.

While in the early 1990s AAGES's static converters were primarily used to upgrade existing equipment for domestic clients, the company’s activities expanded rapidly, soon including in its portfolio all components of induction heating systems.

In collaboration with a German company in the year 2000, AAGES developed in less than a year a new family of converters using power transistors. Over the years, more than 1,200 units from this product line have been delivered to clients practically on all five continents.
