The company SOCOT S.A. was established in 1991, based on Law no. 15/1990, and it emerged from the Hydro-Technical Works Trust of Bucharest. The company's functional structure is organized into work sites/national construction sites, with its main headquarters located in Târgu Mureș, at Libertății Street, no. 115, Mureș County.

Throughout its operational history, the primary activity of SOCOT S.A. has centered around executing hydro-technical construction works, serving as the company's hallmark. This domain boasts significant experience and reputation within the national market, encompassing:
